Still remember, we had create a new product in food fair 2009 at UCSI.. Our product was "Chicken Pumpkin Ball". Because of it, we had won in third prize in the competition. This product had highest nutrition because pumpkin is highest vitamin c and antioxidant. It may not affect to our body health.
Last time, we had trying so much time on this product. I still remember we waste a lot of time to try, to cook a delicious chicken pumpkin ball. Not only that, we need to decorate our stall and create some promotion of our product to consumers. That time was very hard but happy.
The price for one set of chicken pumkin ball was RM3.00. Many people like to taste our new product. So, we had sold out all the product in short time. We feel happy too...
- Blended the chicken become minced meat.
- Mixing the chicken with large amount of garlic and onion in a big pan.
- Then, adding an egg, and small amount of sesame oil, corn flour, soya sauce, salt, sugar and pepper.
- To store the meat dough for a day in refrigerator.
- Next, cutting the pumpkin in small slices and steam it untill the flesh is soft.
- At the end, pack the pumpkin flesh inside the minced meat into a ball shape.
- After it, deep frying the chicken pumpkin ball at 180 celcius.
- Keep the chicken pumpkin ball at warm temperature before to string with "satay" branch.(See the picture below.)
Even we getting very tired of that day, but we feel happy to get this nice experience. I will not forget it!
